I adore a good peel. I’ve tried so many different formulations to achieve that perfect refresh. The Ordinary boasts a great dupe of all of my favorites. The AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is going to be my best friend this spring.
The Ordinary.
Some mornings after braving the brittle cold of this northern city, I run my fingers across a skin that feels unfamiliar. My lips struggle to maintain their cushion-y pout. Of course, I’ve sought out wisdom from every sector of the beauty world. My mum, who radiates 24/7-365, beauty bloggers, cosmetics counters, and truly– so much more. In years passed, I find something that get’s me through. But this year, I’ve finally got it figured out. I wake to face winds whipping off of the allegheny river, and my skin is resilient. So fresh faced you’d think i’ve been living through a healing-humid Florida summer.
This line is a godsend.
I’m still getting acquainted with the full potential of these products, but so far i’m SOLD. Each evening I lather on the Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil. It’s rich, and instantly nourishing. Time after time, I’ve heard from “holistic” old-heads that Rosehip Seed Ectract is their cure-all. Now, I agree.
The Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% has an interesting texture, almost gritty. It works well but isn’t as gentle as others i’ve tried. But the other items in the Vitamin C line have been a fast favorites of mine. Just before bed I’ll apply a layer & wake up with fresh dewy skin. Then cleanse, throw on some rose hip seed oil, and my skin feels truly spoiled.
