Choose a handful of succulents and decorations.  Gemstones, feathers, skulls, preserved wings, figurines are great options. Lay them out together so you can see what fits/compliments the plants best.

Wash your polished stones or sea glass with in water/vinegar mixture, rinse well, and air dry.

Buff any haze or fingerprints from your glass vessel (Honestly, I think this one was intended to be a bird-feeder).  These are near-impossible to clean once assembled.

Layer in a few stones, then place the fairy light among the stones so that the wire is well hidden, but the bulbs peek through against the glass.  Next, Break up the roots of your succulents & cacti delicately to give them a more flexible base.  Place them among the stones and spread another thin layer of pebbles or sea glass over top of them.

Then, arrange your decorative pieces  around the plants ensuring that the fairy lights still peek through.   Affix the light’s battery pack to the bottom or back of your vessel where it wont detract from the display.
