Travel Diary: Autumn at the Lake

There is something so sacred about nurturing traditions, and I am blessed to have a mother who can share with me, what she shared with hers. The Autumn escape to the lake, A 40-some year Tradition. Shared this year with the family & my man.  We went for early morning bike rides, got everyone up on a paddle-board, and stayed up late by the fire. We counted stars, cooked up s’mores, drank brews, and laughed about years passed that we have gathered on this ancient water. Life on the lake is easy, and leaving never is, so until next year… we’ll think back on this time with a smile.
