Travel Diary: Charleston & The Angel Oak Tree

Flashback photos from a lazy hazy summer day in Charleston, SC.

 The peaks and points of each church stretches into the couldless sky, there is spanish moss on every tree limb, and bold emerald ivy flourishing on the ancient brick walls of boutiques. The sun is hot, and always beaming, people bustle about searching for shops & shady spots. Just outside the city we wander through a wooded patch of earth that boasts a magnificent & massive live oak tree. Gigantic limbs reach 100’s of feet from the base– stirring memories of harry potter monsters like the whomping willow. An experience that is visually stunning, and spatially humbling,The Angel Oak Tree is a must see, Charleston is a southern charmer that has hidden gems worth pit-stopping for.
