Lemon Ginger Drink

This blend is a powerful elixir of beneficial extracts.  This crisp & cleansing drink encompasses cancer prevention, digestive regulation, a dose of vitamin C and vitamin A, antioxidants & all of nature’s immune-enhancing vitamins and mineral complexes in plant form. Without further ado…

Here’s what you will need:

  •  1 inch or piece of ginger root
  •  1/2 bunch of parsley (about 1/2 cup chopped)
  •  1 sliced lemon
  •  10 large mint leaves

Pour 2 quarts of filtered water into a saucepan over medium heat. Bring water to a rolling boil.  In the meantime; Chop your parsley, slice your lemons into 1/4 inch cuts, wash, peel & grate your ginger root. Then add 4 mint leaves and all ingredients except the lemons to your boiling water.  Brew for 7-10 minutes depending on how strong you would like it.

Strain your mixture and give plenty of time to cool in the refrigerator. Squeeze the juice of two lemon slices into the mixture.  Line up two 1 quart mason jars and place 3 mint leaves and two lemon slices to both jars and then pour the mixture over top.  Store in your fridge and savor each morning when you wake up, after a spring-air yoga sesh, or for hydration before a long day of sun-basking.   This drink is an energizing elixir that provides a daily dose of   w o a h.  Embrace spring and enjoy!
